Our shop is at 752 East 43rd Street in Bronzeville, Chicago, IL 60653. We are open Tuesday through Friday 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday 12 PM to 4 PM for pickup. Closed Monday.

Where do you deliver flowers to?

What is the delivery fee?

Accepted Answer

Delivery fees are calculated by distance from our Bronzeville shop. Within 2 miles is $20, 2 to 10 miles is $35, 10 to 15 miles is $40, and beyond 15 miles is $50. Your exact delivery fee appears at checkout based on the recipient address.

When will you deliver my flowers?

Standard deliveries are made Tuesday through Friday between 10 AM and 6 PM, and Saturday between 10 AM and 4 PM. For same-day delivery, place your order by 11 AM CST, Tuesday through Friday. For Saturday or Sunday same-day, call the shop. No delivery on Monday.

Can I pay for a guaranteed delivery window?

For a small additional priority fee, we offer a guaranteed 4-hour delivery window. Contact the shop at 312-291-1431 to arrange this.

What if the recipient is not home?

Accepted Answer

Our drivers look for a safe spot like a porch or covered entry, leave a text message or door tag, and may return the flowers to the shop for redelivery if no safe option is available.

What happens if I provide an incorrect address?

Accepted Answer

A redelivery or replacement fee applies to send the flowers to the correct location. Double-check the address at checkout.

Do you deliver in extreme weather?

Accepted Answer

Flowers will not be left outside in extreme heat (above 90°F) or extreme cold (below 25°F). In these cases we attempt redelivery later in the day or the next business day.

Can I send flowers to hospitals, colleges, or funeral homes?

Yes. We deliver to major Chicago medical centers including UChicago Medicine, Northwestern, and Rush. We also deliver to local colleges and funeral homes across the city.

How do you handle deliveries to offices, apartment buildings, and condos?

Flowers are left at the front desk or with the doorman. Building staff typically contact the recipient. If further instructions are needed we will reach out to you.

Do you deliver to schools?

Yes. Most schools require deliveries to the main office, so we recommend scheduling these for the morning.

Can I customize my order, or is it Designer’s Choice?

Accepted Answer

Both. Designer’s Choice uses the freshest stems available the day of your order. If you have a specific vision, contact the shop 48 hours in advance so we can source particular colors or flowers.

What happens if a specific flower I ordered is not in season?

If a specific bloom is unavailable due to seasonality or market conditions, we substitute it with a flower of equal or greater value that maintains the aesthetic and color palette of your arrangement.

Custom pet-safe arrangements are available on request. Many common flowers can be toxic to animals, so we recommend consulting your veterinarian or the ASPCA safe plant list. Fleurish Chicago is not liable for any illness or injury from pet interactions, so please keep arrangements out of reach of pets.

How will my flowers be packaged for delivery?

Vased arrangements ship in travel boxes for stability. Wrapped bouquets include a temporary water source to maintain freshness until you place them in a permanent vase.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photo?

Accepted Answer

Not exactly. Because we work with fresh, living products, no two arrangements are identical. Colors and blooms may vary based on market availability and seasonality, though the spirit and scale of every arrangement matches the photo.

How do I make my Fleurish Chicago arrangement last longer?

Three steps: change the water every two days, trim stems at a 45-degree angle using sharp shears, and keep arrangements away from direct sunlight, drafts, and ripening fruit.

What happens if I am unhappy with my flowers?

Accepted Answer

Your satisfaction is our priority. If your flowers do not arrive fresh or are damaged during transit, contact us at info@fleurishchicago.com or 312-291-1431 within 24 hours of delivery with a photo of the arrangement. Because flowers are perishable, we cannot offer resolutions after the 24-hour window, but we will work quickly to provide a replacement or other solution for any immediate quality issues.

What does your resolution process look like?

If an arrangement is found to be below our quality standards within the 24-hour window, we offer one of two options. Replacement: we deliver a fresh arrangement of the same value at no additional cost. Partial credit: if only a portion of the arrangement is underperforming, we may offer a store credit for a future order.

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard orders: cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund. Once an arrangement has been designed or is out for delivery, we cannot offer a refund. Subscription orders: subscriptions can be paused or canceled at any time with 48 hours notice before the next scheduled delivery. Holiday orders: during peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, cancellations require 48 hours notice due to the high volume of specific flower sourcing.

What issues are beyond your control?

Fleurish Chicago is not responsible for the health of flowers after a successful delivery if they have been left outside in extreme Chicago weather, placed in direct sunlight, near heaters, or under air vents.

What if I change my mind after placing an order?

Accepted Answer

Once an order has been confirmed and prepared, changes or cancellations may not be possible. For advance orders, contact the shop as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate requests when timing allows.

What happens if my order cannot be delivered?

If a delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, incorrect information, or recipient unavailability, additional delivery attempts may require an added fee. In some cases the order may be returned to the shop for pickup.

Delivery changes or rescheduling requests should be submitted as early as possible. Same-day changes cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional fees.

Yes. Substitutions may be necessary due to seasonal availability or supply constraints. Any substitutions will reflect the original design style, color palette, and value of the arrangement.

We guarantee that flowers leave our shop fresh and properly conditioned. We cannot guarantee longevity once flowers are in the recipient care, since proper care significantly impacts how long flowers last.

What happens if Fleurish Chicago has to cancel a workshop?

In the rare event that we must cancel a workshop due to extreme Chicago weather or an emergency, all ticket holders receive the option of a full refund or a priority credit for the rescheduled date.

What is the refund policy for workshop tickets?

Accepted Answer

Because we source premium, perishable blooms specifically for each attendee, all workshop ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend, your ticket is fully transferable. You may send someone in your place; please notify the shop of the name change at least 24 hours before the event. If you cannot find a replacement, contact the shop to arrange pickup of your flower kit and materials within 24 hours of the scheduled class.
